Winter’s the perfect time of the year for many of those woody plant pruning projects! Before you make those final cuts, come and learn from our Head Gardener on how to sharpen and maintain your own tools.

Please bring the following materials: 1 hand pruner, dry rags, small scrubbing brush, and tools for pruner dismantling (a few of these will be provided by us).

Due to the limited time frame of this workshop, end results depends on the ability to dismantle/reassemble. For ease of dismantling and reassembling, we suggest you bring hand pruners of the following brands: FELCO, ARS, AM Leonard, Corona, and others with similar components.

Attendees are to meet at the Nature Education Center Classroom, which is a 1 minute walk behind the Cylburn Mansion.
