Light mist, cool air, cloudy skies, moist soils, r Light mist, cool air, cloudy skies, moist soils, rainy nights - how perfect has the weather been for new plantings?!

Each year, our team works to grow and/or source new plant materials for our gardens providing unique visual interests. Planted in the video, Verbascum ‘Southern Charm’, is one of the many new additions to our gardens. While still quite small, this short-lived perennial will grow to a final height of 2 feet tall and feature beautiful spires of pastel-colored flowers ranging from pale pink to creamy yellows. Keep an eye out for it on your next visit to Cylburn Arboretum.

Any new additions to your own gardens? Let us know in the comments!
