Wednesday Walk: Old-Growth Forest Trees

Join us for a walk in Cylburn’s woodland to learn about some of our oldest trees on the property.
Explore Cylburn’s forest with JHU ecology professor and director of Environmental Science and Studies program, Dr. Jerry Burgess. Learn techniques for “reading” a forested landscape and identifying trees as they begin to “leaf out.” Woodland trails can be bumpy and uneven.
Attendees should meet at the Vollmer Center
