Abra Lee Lecture: “Conquer the Soil”

Join Cylburn Arboretum Friends and the Horticultural Society of Maryland for an evening lecture at the Vollmer Center.
Join garden historian Abra Lee where she will share stories behind key figures from her upcoming book Conquer the Soil. Her talk will focus on the exceptional accomplishments of African Americans with careers in horticulture and gardening.
This event is free to CAF Members and Maryland Hort Society Members–please pre-register for your free ticket online. This event is $5 for non-CAF/non-Hort Society Members (includes all fees).
