Have you visited our newly hardscaped City Demonstration Gardens yet? We now have five distinct gardens behind the Mansion, each designed with a unique theme and purpose. On Thursday, November 20 (10 AM-1 PM), we’ll be demonstrating the traditional Japanese wood-burning technique of yakisugi in Garden 1. These events are a great opportunity to observe the construction process and ask questions that might help you try something similar in your own garden. Please note that these sessions are for observation only—there is no hands-on participation.
