Join us for Cylburn in Spring: A Community Fair!

Celebrate the beauty of spring at Cylburn Arboretum. Enjoy a day of nature, discovery, and community with guided tours, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive exhibits Cylburn’s environmental and gardening groups. Meet experts, explore the gardens, and learn more about the incredible organizations that are connected to Cylburn. 

Activities happening throughout the day:

• Food Trucks – Mr. Souvlaki and Royal Sauce food trucks
will be on site for food purchase!
• Vollmer Center – Learn from experts about the
natural world, take part in a property scavenger
hunt, event Seek & Find, demonstrations, seed
starting, botanical art, coloring, or grab a book
from the book giveaway!
• Greenhouse Classroom & Patio – Purchase
veggie, herb, and indoor houseplants from City
Farms, Master Gardeners of Baltimore City, UMD
Ext, and the Cactus & Succulent Society.

Hikes and Tours:

8:30 am: “Early Bird Catches the Worm” hike lead by
the Baltimore Bird Club
10 am, 11 am & 1 pm: Tour Cylburn’s production
greenhouses with Rec & Parks staff
10:15 am & 12:30 pm: Compost Demonstration with
the Master Gardeners of Baltimore City, UMD Ext.
11 am & 1:15 pm: Tour the Demonstration Gardens
with the Master Gardeners of Baltimore City,
UMD Ext.
12 pm: Tour the Historic Cylburn Mansion with
Baltimore City Naturalist Molly Hoopes
