
Cylburn Summer Nature Camp gives an opportunity for children to learn about their environment through hands-on activities centered on the trees, plants, animals, and habitats at Cylburn Arboretum. Recreational opportunities include daily hikes, games, and team-building exercises as well activities that combine science with art. Scholarships for the 2024 Camps will be awarded to cover 25%-75% of camp tuition. Priority will be given to scholarship applicants who reside in the neighborhoods adjacent to Cylburn Arboretum as well as first-time scholarship recipients. Please note that campers that are already registered and paid for Cylburn’s camp will not be considered for 2024 scholarships.
Scholarships will be offered for each of our sessions:
Mini Camp (Entering PreK-1st grade, ages 4-6)
- 1 week session: June 10-14 9am-1pm (aftercare option until 3pm)
Elementary Camp (Entering K-5th grade, ages 5-10)
- 2 week session: June 17-28 9am-3pm (aftercare option until 5pm)
- 1 week sessions: July 1-5, July 8-12 9am-3pm (aftercare option until 5pm)
Middle School Camp (Entering 6th-8th grade, ages 11-13)
- 1 week session: June 24-28 9am-3pm (no aftercare option)
