SUMMARY:Wednesday Walk: Spring Forest: Buds\, Blooms\, and New Beginnings
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a walk with Dr. Vanessa Beauchamp to learn about the biology of Spring\n\n\nWednesday Walk: Awakening the Spring Forest: Buds\, Blooms\, and New BeginningsJoin Towson University Professor Vanessa Beauchamp in discovering how a deciduous forest comes to life after winter as trees break dormancy\, spring wildflowers emerge\, and the forest awakens with new growth. Learn how warming temperatures and increasing daylight trigger these seasonal changes\, and explore the remarkable adaptations that allow spring ephemerals to bloom before the forest canopy closes. Join us for a walk celebrating one of the most dynamic and beautiful times of the year. \nAttendees should meet at the Vollmer Center
