Outdoor ProjectsVolunteer with our garden professionals to keep the grounds beautiful, or tackle the job of keeping our 3.5 miles of trails cleared and environmentally sound.
Education for Children and AdultsHelp plan and staff nature walks, guided tours, nature education programs, field trips, school break programs, lectures, and be a host at the Nature Museum.
Special EventsBe a part of the behind the scenes preparation and staffing at exciting special events – Celebration of Art, Market Day, and other cultural and educational fundraising events through the year that support our gardens and operations.
Cylburn welcomes volunteer service days from corporations, schools, and service organizations. Group projects have included grounds cleanup, clearing trails, painting the CAA offices, and setting up for Market Day. School groups should be seventh grade or older.

No experience is needed but is always welcomed. Hands-on training is offered on all outdoor projects and orientation is provided for hosts and guides.
